A festive concert was held in Sevastopol by the 11th anniversary of return to Russia

A series of festive events dedicated to the 11th anniversary of the reunion of Sevastopol with Russia ended with a grand concert in the Palace of Culture of Fishermen. The concert was called «Russian Spring — the Way to Creating.» Participants of the events that unfolded in Sevastopol in February-March 2014 gathered in the hall: people who went to rallies and defended the city on checkpoints, people who unanimously entered the referendum and returned the city home. Governor Mikhail Razvozhaev congratulated the audience on the holiday.
Then, in 2014, the whole of Russia was ill for the Sevastopolites. In the various corners of the country, people, clinging to the screens, followed the events of Russian spring: how people gathered at a rally of popular will, how they went to checkpoints, how the March referendum passed. Together, the Sevastopol residents did one common cause, which ultimately led to the famous, historical decree signed by our national leader Vladimir Putin. These events counted the latest history of our country, they became the starting point of the revival of the Russian world, the collection of our lands, the gathering of our pride and faith in their country for all Russians. 11 years have passed, and now we have been developing our beloved Sevastopol, we are doing everything to make it better and more comfortable. For this, we have everything: a rich story, and wonderful people, and the possibilities, and the support of our president,-quoted the press service of the Government of Sevastopol the head of the city.
The Russian Spring — Way to Creating Talks about love for the homeland, about the courage and stamina of the Sevastopol residents, about the attitude to history and traditions, about the power of truth and faith, which became the foundation for the dynamic development of the city in Russia. The concert was based on the memoirs of the participants in the “Russian Spring”, and concert numbers were their continuation, the personification of the fact that the Sevastopol residents found today thanks to the return to Russia.
11 years ago, we all together expressed our firm will: to be along with our great homeland — Russia. Then we showed the whole world what real democracy means. We united, having defended our values, our traditions, our culture, our right to speak our native Russian. Every day, we have strongly confident that we made an absolutely correct, only choice. Today, the struggle for the Russian world continues: our brothers, fathers, sons with weapons in their hands defend and protect the integrity and independence of our state, our beliefs, our faith. They protect the choice that we, Sevastopol and Crimeans, made 11 years ago. They are all heroes. And we are sure that the enemy will be broken, and the victory will be behind us — The chairman of the Legislative Assembly Vladimir Germans said.
