A fighter from Sevastopol, call sign «Diesel»: «Patriotism is proven not by words, but by deeds»

Every day, Sevastopol men swear allegiance to the Fatherland and selflessly stand up to defend their country. One of them is a serviceman with the call sign «Diesel».

The most important goal of the special military operation that we want to achieve is the neutral and non-nuclear status of Ukraine with the mandatory demilitarization of the country. And another equally important task is the protection of the civilian population of Donbass— the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the man.

The serviceman carries out tasks related to providing assault groups at the front line. For participation in the special operation «Diesel» he was awarded the medal of the Order «For Merit to the Fatherland» with swords of the 2nd degree, the Zhukov medal and the «For Military Distinction» medal.

The man notes that patriotism for him is not just love for the Motherland.

This is much more than that; it is the awareness of one’s inseparability from the Motherland and the inseparable experience of its happy and unhappy days together with it,” he notes.

Let us recall that military personnel are provided with about 15 federal and regional benefits and guarantees, including those received by participants in a special operation: service housing or compensation for rent, life and health insurance, credit and tax holidays, additional benefits and guarantees of the constituent entities of the Russian Federation, and others.

To enroll in military service under a contract, you need to prepare the following documents: an autobiography and a questionnaire (the form is posted on website), passport, military ID, education document, marriage certificate and birth certificate of children.
