A fire in a route bus was extinguished in Sevastopol

On December 19, at 16:00, the operational duty shift of the Crisis Management Center of the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia in the city of Sevastopol received a message from eyewitnesses that in the area of the Rodnik TSN (10th km of the Balaklava highway) a shuttle bus was on fire.
The forces of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations were sent to the site: one department each from the 1st and 4th fire and rescue units. Upon arrival the information was confirmed. A “high pressure” barrel was used for extinguishing. The area of the fire was 10 square meters, the fire has now been localized, and the open burning has been extinguished. Passengers evacuated on their own before emergency services arrived. There were no dead or injured. The situation is under the control of the responsible departments— reported the emergency department.
Let us clarify that the route bus “12-A” caught fire while it was moving. The driver and passengers left the cabin on time. The bus was completely burned out. Experts are looking into the causes of the car fire.
