A foreigner in absentia sentenced to 12 years in a colony for sexual crimes against a schoolgirl from Yalta

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the IC of Russia in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol were recognized as a 63-year-old resident of a foreign state to be aditled by the court. He is found guilty of a sexual crime in relation to a young (paragraph “b” of part 4 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigative department of the city of Yalta and the court established that from the beginning of May to the end of June 2022, a man performed sexual acts against a 9-year-old girl, inclining her to an intimate action in personal correspondence, as well as by video calls in the messenger. The correspondence of a minor with an adult man was discovered by her mother, who immediately reported what had happened to law enforcement agencies. During the investigation, the man was put on the international wanted list,-the press service of the department said.

He was found guilty of a crime guilty of a crime and was sentenced in absentia to 12 years in prison with a sentence in a maximum security penal colony.
