CrimeaPRESS reports:

On the night of October 1 to 2, the dispatch service of the State Autonomous Institution of the Republic of Crimea “Alushta Forestry and Hunting Estate” received a signal about a fire in the area of the Chatyr-Dag plateau on the top of Eklizi-Burun.

The fire was detected at an early stage and timely measures were taken to extinguish it.— reported the Ministry of Natural Resources of the Republic of Crimea.

However, the situation was complicated by weather conditions (very strong gusty winds) and a difficult-to-reach location, so we had to work mainly with entrenching tools (crackers, rakes, shovels). Water was carried in backpacks at a distance of 3 km from the tankers.

The coordinated work of fire brigades allowed the fire to be extinguished in the shortest possible time. The area of the outbreak at the time of localization was 0.8 hectaresnoted the Ministry of Natural Resources.

23 pieces of equipment and 79 people were involved in extinguishing the forest fire. Experts understand the reasons, but it is already clear that the “human factor” could not have happened without it.

The Ministry of Natural Resources of Crimea calls on all residents and guests of our region to take care of nature.
