In Alushta, a criminal case on the use of violence against forest guard employees has been sent to court. As established by the investigation, in June 2024, the accused, while in a mountainous and wooded area on the territory of the Alushta forestry, was discovered by a patrol group of forest guards.
Due to the presence of signs of an administrative offence in his actions, forest protection officials took measures to draw up administrative materials against him. Not wanting to be brought to administrative responsibility, the accused snatched the administrative offence report from the officials and attempted to escape in his car— the prosecutor’s office said.
The accused carried the forest guard employee who tried to stop his illegal activity on the back of the car for at least 15 meters, after which, opening the door, he threw the victim to the ground. The «adventure» was over. The criminal case was sent to the Alushta City Court for consideration on the merits.
