A gift to all Crimeans? A native of Simferopol Gleb Bakshi confidently defeated a boxer from Venezuela

On March 7, Olympic bronze medalist, 27-year-old boxer from Crimea Gleb Bakshi fought his third fight in the professional ring. A native of Simferopol met with ex-WBA world champion, 37-year-old Venezuelan Alfonso Blanco at a tournament in Yekaterinburg.
The confrontation lasted all eight rounds. In the final round, Alfonso was knocked down twice. The battle ended in victory Bakshi by unanimous decision.
Starting from the second round, the advantage of the Russian became more and more obvious. Gleb acted as the first number, practically not giving his opponent time for a break. He combined, alternated the levels of attacks, Alfonso only occasionally got out of a dead defense and tried to catch the Russian on mistakes— reported the press service of the promotional company RCC Boxing Promotions, under whose auspices the tournament is held.
