A girl was injured on a trolleybus in Sevastopol. The prosecutor's office is conducting an investigation

The Leninsky District Prosecutor’s Office of Sevastopol is conducting an investigation into the implementation of traffic safety legislation following an accident involving a minor child on public transport.

It was established that on July 6, 2024, at 17:04, the driver of a trolleybus traveling along route 12 towards the central part of the city of Sevastopol, at the public transport stop «School 38» boarded and disembarked passengers on the roadway, away from the curb of the boarding area. At the same time, he closed the doors of the trolleybus without making sure of the safety of the passengers. As a result, the driver trapped a young girl who was getting on the bus with the doors. The prosecutor’s office will assess the completeness of compliance with the requirements of the legislation on road safety in the implementation of passenger transportation, — the details of the case were announced by the press service of the Sevastopol prosecutor’s office.

Based on the results of the inspection, if there are grounds, prosecutorial response measures will be taken.
