The Green Marathon Sberphone in Mriya has already become a good tradition for the sports community of Crimea and lovers of active family vacation from all over the peninsula, as well as guests from many regions of Russia.
On May 31, on the eve of the Day of Protection of Children, more than 1.5 thousand people gathered in the territory of the resort of Mriya to take part in races and sports and entertainment activities. A warm -up for athletes before the races was carried out by the winner of the European Championship in boxing Israfil Islamov.
As part of the Green Marathon Sberphone, adults and adolescents from 14 to 17 years old ran a distance of 4.2 km, this route became the most popular among athletes. Also, adults fled about 10 km and 2.1 km in the Northern Walking discipline. For children, a distance of 500 m was provided.

For the third time, Crimea becomes part of one of the largest running competitions in Russia — the green marathon Sberon. By good tradition, we again spend it in the territory of the resort of Mriya. For everyone who took part with us in this holiday, sport is a source of energy and inspiration. Here they gather whole families and large corporate teams. The green marathon is more than the usual race: it symbolizes devotion to a healthy lifestyle, family values, a caring attitude to the environment, as well as the support of children with experience in orphans and developmental features.
Particular attention on the green marathon is paid to the charity component. All funds raised during registration, as well as during events are directed to the development of inclusive education in Russia, including helping children with special development needs and children with experience in orphanhood. Also, the funds raised will go to prepare the children for school adaptation, helping them feel confidence and comfort in the new social space. High -quality preparation for school is necessary for each child with special educational needs, because it is precisely such programs that lay the foundation of our common future.

In addition to races at a distance, sports and entertainment activity passed for spectators and fans of all ages: adults and children could take part in the dance flash mob, play in Mega-Jeng, Mega-Darts and other active games, as well as participate in the master class on the painting of gingerbread.
From year to year, the green marathon remains one of the largest running competitions in Russia. On May 31, more than 140 thousand participants fled him in 8 hour zones and in 60 cities of the country, another 150 thousand fans came to support them. He helped collect more than 30 million rubles. Sber, by tradition, will double this amount. All funds will be directed to the development of inclusive education, including the support of children with the experience of orphanage from new regions and border territories of Russia.
