On August 22, at 13:13, the operational duty officer of the «Rescue Service of Sevastopol» received a message about a group of tourists (5 people) who could not independently get out of the via ferrata route on Mount Ilyas-Kaya.
The duty shift of the search and rescue unit «South» left for the scene. Rescuers found tourists and evacuated to a safe place. Work ended at 17:38. From the State Institution «Rescue Service of Sevastopol» 3 personnel and 1 piece of equipment were involvedthe emergency department said.
