In Simferopol, on a site for individual housing construction (IHC), an entrepreneur opened a hotel and a cafe. Deputy Chairman of the State Committee for State Registration and Cadastre of the Republic of Crimea, Deputy Chief State Inspector of the Republic of Crimea for Land Use and Protection Konstantin Titkov reported another violation of land legislation, revealed during an unscheduled inspection visit by a state land inspector.

Contrary to the norms «Classifier of types of permitted use of land plots«, the businessman organized a hotel business and a catering outlet on a land plot of 603 square meters. Instead of his own home, non-residential buildings of 212 and 41 square meters were located on the privately owned land plot. The area of ​​the residential building turned out to be much smaller, occupying only 15.7 «squares». In fact, such commercial facilities as a cafe with its own ready-made food production and a hotel with eight rooms equipped with separate entrances were located here.— the press service quotes Konstantin Titkov.

The deputy chairman also said that during the inspection, access to the hotel complex was open except for the rooms themselves. Commercial activity could be judged by the sign of the hotel and cafe of the same name, the corresponding icons indicating this type of service, the cafe menu and other attributes of such a service sector. In addition, information about the entrepreneur’s activities is duplicated on the website of his establishment and another advertising and information platform on the Internet. Information about the identified and recorded violation of land legislation requirements was sent to the Simferopol Administration for taking measures within the framework of the article 222 Civil Code of the Russian Federation «Unauthorized construction.» The next step is up to the employees local government body— summed up Konstantin Titkov.
