The Day of the State Flag of Russia in Sevastopol was celebrated with a spectacular patriotic event: one of the largest tricolors in the country was unfurled in the Hero City. The canvas with a width 17, 5 and a length 45 meters spread out 22 August at a historical height — Sapun Mountain. Hundreds of people took part in the action: social activists, youth, rescuers, military, government representatives.
The action has already become traditional. This year, it was curated by two federal cultural institutions: the Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve Tauric Chersonese and the Museum-Reserve of the Heroic Defense and Liberation of Sevastopol.
