A KRYM-SPAS fighter died in the NVO zone. Colleagues mourn

Today in the city of Stary Krym they said goodbye to one of the heroes of the special military operation — Ivan Muravetsky. A very young, strong defender of the Motherland gave his life in the fight against Nazism. Before being mobilized, he began working as a lifeguard in the Sudak emergency rescue team «Crimea-SPAS».

Muravetsky Ivan Viktorovich was born on April 29, 2001 in Stary Krym, Kirovsky District. In 2019, he graduated from MBOU «Starokrymsk Educational Complex No. 1 School-Gymnasium». From 2018 to 2019, he worked at the Starokrymsky forest and hunting enterprise. In 2020 he graduated from the Belogorsk Technological College. He worked in the Starokrymsky forest and hunting farm. From October 2020 to October 2021, he did military service in Simferopol with the rank of senior sailor. In 2022, he was hired by the Sudak emergency rescue team of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «Crimea-Spas»— noted in the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.

Ivan did not hide from mobilization, and as soon as he was called up, he honestly stood up for the defense of the Fatherland as a combat crew artilleryman. Died while performing combat missions.

I express my sincere condolences to Ivan’s family and friends. We know that no words of comfort can take away the pain of loss. The Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea mourns with everyone. Eternal glory to the hero— said Minister of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Sadakliev.
