At the Festival of Young Multinational Art «Tavrida.ART» 3800 people from all over our country walked in a single costumed column 3.5 km. This year the participants of the art procession, like one big family, united here, on the site of the art cluster «Tavrida», revealing the color and originality of the ethnically diverse peoples of Russia.
The art procession «Russia — a family of families!» gathered 3800 people. 89 families from all regions of our vast country, as well as from Abkhazia, Belarus and Kazakhstan, presented their national costumes, creativity and traditions. This year’s event was also special because representatives of different regions of Russia went up to the Main Stage at the finale for a family photo, and also sang the song «My Homeland» («Me, you, he, she — together a whole country…») in the languages of different peoples of our vast country.
The column of the art procession «Fair» as a place of meeting and communication for the whole family reflected the diversity of cultures and the opportunity for the family to spend time together in a fun way, thereby uniting even more.
The atmosphere of the «Fair» at the art procession was created by a drum show, a demonstration of national costumes, a performance by residents of the «Tavrida» art cluster, and a display of a model of the Izmailovo Kremlin moving on a special platform.
The column of the art procession «Feast» was represented by a huge table — a symbol of unity, mutual understanding and the ability to listen: a meeting place for generations, where traditions, customs and family wisdom are passed on.
The platform was decorated with a tablecloth on which one could leave wishes or patterns, as well as a unique samovar created by skilled craftsmen in the Urals. It is the largest samovar in Russia: its volume is 415 liters, and it can give drink to 2,000 people.
The column of the art procession «Fairy Tales» reflected the tradition that brings parents and children together, creates coziness, and forms family values.
The column platform was decorated with unique decorations and was accompanied by performances by theaters in ethnic costumes with an exclusive program.
The column of the art procession «Harvest Festival» symbolized Sabantuy, Semik, Gerber, Hebdenek, Tun Payram — national harvest festivals, thanks to which an atmosphere of mutual understanding, respect and joy is created.
Musical platforms with unique decorations, staging of holidays, round dances and rituals presented this column.
The column of the art procession «Wedding» expressed the impulse of uniting families, creating and maintaining mutual understanding within them. Each family has its own unique wedding traditions that are passed down from generation to generation, which was reflected in the column: a wedding, a car, patterned carpets, Caucasian music and national rites accompanied the procession.
Also performing at the art procession were residents of the Tavrida art cluster, and ST was its headliner.
A real celebration of art and inspiration for families gave all participants the opportunity to express their nationality and feel the atmosphere of creativity around them. Each thematic column revealed the image of the ethnically diverse peoples of Russia, their color and originality, emphasized the unity through time and generations. The general partner of the art procession was the national open championship of creative competencies for specialists in the field of backstage and digital art ArtMasters— the press service of the Tavrida.ART festival notes.
