A lesson on information security was held for Sevastopol schoolchildren
CrimeaPRESS reports:
Today in the center of digital education «IT-cube. Gagarin, Director of the Digital Development Department Alexandra Osipova held an open lesson on information security. The lesson was held as part of the educational project «Digital Educational Program» of the national project «Digital Economy». Children are active users of various mobile devices. Now schoolchildren have a period of spring break, which means there is more free time for the Internet. Alexandra Osipova spoke about how to independently identify malicious content and observe digital culture, touched on topics related to online shopping, cyber fraud, online bullying and safe communication.
Information security skills must be acquired from a very early age, because today almost every child has a mobile phone, tablet, and there are enough dangers on the Internet. Children should be able to protect themselves and identify potentially dangerous situations. During the lesson, the main threats were sorted out, and I am sure that this knowledge will be useful to schoolchildren in their daily lives, — the press service of the Government of Sevastopol quotes the director of the department.
In addition, schoolchildren watched and discussed videos on the rules of safe behavior on the Internet from leading digital companies, including VK, Sberbank’s charitable foundation Contribution to the Future, Russian Post, and Kaspersky Lab.
