CrimeaPRESS reports:
A light event “You’re still alive!” was held in the city of Simferopol. in memory of the Crimeans who died in the zone of a special military operation while performing military duty.
The event is timed to coincide with the anniversary of the start of the Crimean offensive operation in 1944, which lasted 35 days and as a result of which the peninsula was liberated from the Nazis.
According to the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksenov, the heroes of the Great Patriotic War and the special military operation are marching side by side in one heavenly formation.
This is our Immortal Regiment. And the duty of each of us is to be worthy of our warriors who have gone into eternity. To be faithful to their memory not in words, but in deeds. This means working for the front, for Victory, doing your job honestly and conscientiously, helping our soldiers on the front line, surrounding the families of heroes with attention and care, preserving and passing on historical truth to new generations.said the Head of Crimea.
In his opinion, the candle of human memory will never go out, and the Immortal Regiment will always be in service at parades of past and future victories of great Russia.
We mourn together with the relatives of the fallen soldiers, carefully preserve the memory of each of our Heroes and understand that the strength of our people lies in people who are ready to give their lives for their Motherland. The general battle is still ahead, but we are convinced of our Victory over the enemy. We don’t need half a world, only complete destruction, a victory that will be worthy of those who paid for it with their lives“, — in turn, said the head of the Crimean parliament Vladimir Konstantinov.
Let us note that many young people took part in the action; many had memory candles and lamps in their hands.
