A like on a social network will cost 45,000 rubles. Verdict of the Krasnoperekopsky District Court

The press service of the Krasnoperekopsky District Court said:
A citizen of the Krasnoperekopsky District, committed an administrative offense, namely, by tagging “I think it’s cool”, she posted information with images and records on her page on the Odnoklassniki social network aimed at discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation acting in order to protect the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security, the information is of the nature of public action (that is, it is available to an unlimited number of users of the Odnoklassniki social network).
For public actions that discredit the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, conducting a special military operation, showing disrespect for the rights and freedoms of other citizens, as well as for the requirements of public morality, a citizen will have to bear responsibility under Part 1 of Art. 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation.
At the court session, the offender did not admit her guilt, she explained that she did not post any information of a discrediting nature in relation to the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation on her page, but wrote “pure truth”.
The court, having comprehensively considered the materials of the case, having checked the arguments of the citizen “about the pure truth”, which did not find its confirmation, and taking into account the extenuating circumstances (retirement age), came to the conclusion that the resident of the Krasnoperekopsky district was guilty of discrediting the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation, imposing a punishment in the form 45000 rubles.
The decision has entered into force.
