A little bit of magic and enchantment… The exhibition “Magic of the Bosporus” opened at the Crimean Ethnographic Museum

The Crimean Ethnographic Museum hosted the opening of the exhibition “The Magic of the Bosporus” from the stock collection of the East Crimean Historical and Cultural Museum-Reserve.
Among the exhibits on display are amulets and amulets of the inhabitants of the ancient Bosporus, terracotta figurines from the sanctuary of an ancient settlement in Eastern Crimea, and lead plates with inscriptions that were used for magical spells.
At the exhibition, you will be able to see archaeological finds from the Alexander Rocks necropolis, in which ground burials and associated funeral feasts were discovered, as well as two mounds dating back to the 1st-2nd centuries. n. e. The exhibition “The Magic of the Bosporus” will run within the walls of the Crimean Ethnographic Museum until December 19.
