A local resident was detained in the Simferopol district — kept drugs

During the operational-search measures, employees of the criminal investigation department of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Simferopol district stopped the fact of storing and using narcotic drugs by a resident of Simferopol.
The operatives on one of the streets in the village of Simferopol district stopped a 31-year-old man who behaved suspiciously. As a result of a personal search, the police found from him and seized a bundle with a white powder substance. The suspect said that he acquired a “salt” narcotic substance for personal use via the Internet. According to the expert’s conclusion, the substance submitted for the study with a total weighing of 1.59 grams contains a narcotic drug derived by n — methyleferon,-the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Republic of Crimea said.
The head of the branch of the Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Simferopol district opened a criminal case on the grounds of a crime under Part 2 of Art. 228 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation (illegal acquisition, storage, transportation, manufacture, processing without the purpose of sales of narcotic drugs, psychotropic substances or their analogues on a large scale). The sanction of the article provides for the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for a term of three to ten years.
The suspect was chosen by a preventive measure in the form of a non -departure subscription.
