A major renovation of the cultural center is being completed in Verkhnesadovo; the new sports and recreation center has already welcomed athletes
CrimeaPRESS reports:
The New Year party for residents of the village of Verkhnesadovoye can be held in the renovated community center. This was announced by the governor of the city of Sevastopol, Mikhail Razvozhaev, during a working trip. The mayor expressed hope that the contractor will complete the major repairs by the end of the year.
According to Alexander Salamatin, General Director of Tavrida-Project LLC, the company is finishing the renovation of the building and will soon begin landscaping.
Between 40 and 50 people work at the site every day, and major renovations are 85% complete. All work related to utility networks has been completed, and interior finishing is being completed. Experts have restored the original appearance of the building — there is a large amount of stucco molding and decorated elements. The elements of the staircases have been fully completed, we are preparing to begin landscaping in two weeks, we plan to completely complete all the work in a month and a half— quotes the press service of the Government of Sevastopol Alexander Salamatin.
Director of the Korabel cultural complex, which includes the Verkhnesadovsky House of Culture, Lyubov Talakh, noted that the doors of the cultural center will be open to everyone — both for those who want to engage in creative groups and for visitors to leisure events.
There are wonderful creative groups working here who are already looking forward to classes in the renovated building: the exemplary Crimean Tatar group “Duvankoy”, the dance group “Krasuni”, the theater group, the arts and crafts group. The highlight of our cultural center is the folk museum of the five Black Sea heroes, — Lyubov Talakh emphasizes.
The two-story sports and recreation complex, built next to the house of culture, has already welcomed athletes — children from Verkhnesadovoye and nearby villages train here. On the ground floor there is a multifunctional universal hall where you can practice basketball, volleyball, football, and wrestling. On the second floor there is a large hall for boxing,” said Yuri Brodetsky, director of the Olympic reserve sports school No. 8, which includes the sports and sports complex.
Now about 150 children are involved in sports. There will be more of them in the future — the sports school plans to develop table tennis and tennis here, as well as introduce sports classes for adults and children.
The sports and recreation complex was built according to the program for the socio-economic development of Crimea and Sevastopol. Now the children from Verkhnesadovoye and nearby villages have a new, modern place to study. I’m sure our coaches will make them new championsemphasizes Mikhail Razvozhaev.
