«CRIMEA-SPAS» evacuated a man who was injured in a fall from an observation deck in the area of the «Silver Pavilion» (Big Yalta). According to the emergency department, the incident was reported at 12:35.
From the observation deck in the Silver Pavilion area, located near the Yalta-Bakhchisarai highway, a man fell and rolled down a steep rocky scree slope from a height of 20 meters, receiving injuries of varying severity. The duty shift of the Yalta emergency rescue squad of the State Institution of the Republic of Crimea «CRIMEA-SPAS», as well as the ambulance staff, were immediately sent to the scene of the incident.— said the Ministry of Emergency Situations of the Republic of Crimea.
Upon arrival, rescuers, using climbing equipment, went down to the victim and provided him with first aid, putting a bandage on his head and fixing his cervical spine with a splint.
After this, using a special stretcher, the man was evacuated to an ambulance for further hospitalization.
