A man in Bakhchisarai wanted to make money by selling drugs. Now you don’t even need money — 9 years in prison

The Bakhchisaray District Court of the Republic of Crimea sentenced a 39-year-old resident of Bakhchisaray for trying to make money from the illegal sale of drugs using the Internet.

The man was sentenced to 9 years in prison. The perpetrator will serve his sentence in a maximum security penal colony. During the consideration of the criminal case, it was established that in April 2023, a local resident purchased drug mixtures via the Internet for the purpose of subsequent illegal sale. In the same way, the man purchased 2 more batches of drugs. The criminal was prevented from completing his criminal plan by circumstances beyond his control. Drugs were discovered and seized by police officers— reported the press service of the court.

At the court hearing, the defendant fully admitted his guilt. In addition, he is guilty of committing crimes under Part 3 of Article 30 – paragraph “d” of Part 4 of Art. 228.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation in all three episodes, the charges against him were fully proven by the totality of the evidence examined at the trial.

The verdict did not enter into legal force.
