A man injured due to a bridge collapse in Dzhankoy district died

Unfortunately, a man who was injured as a result of a bridge collapse in the Dzhankoy district and received serious injuries, despite the medical assistance provided, died in a medical organization on November 16, 2024— reported the press service.

The collapse of the bridge on the Dzhankoy — Maslovo road in Crimea occurred over the railway tracks at the Dzhankoy — Mamut stations on the evening of November 13 as a result of the movement of an overloaded heavy truck. Investigators will assess the condition of the overpass to determine if it is dangerous. The republic’s prosecutor’s office is also conducting an investigation into the collapse of part of the bridge. Two people were injured, one of the victims refused hospitalization.
