A man suspected of attacks on women was detained in Sevastopol

The investigating authorities of the IC of Russia have been initiated and investigated criminal cases against a 44-year-old resident of Sevastopol, suspected of committing other sexual actions using violence against the victims (part 1 of article 132 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation). In the early morning of July 10 and the night of July 11 of this year, an unknown on the Avenue of the October Revolution attacked two random passers -by women at the age of 21 and 30 and committed other actions of a sexual nature. In a short time, the defendant was installed by police officers and the day before was detained with the power support of the Sobr Sokol Rosgvardia. The suspect was a 44-year-old resident of Sevastopol, who unofficially working in the store as a loader previously convicted of committing sexual crimes-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the department.

Investigators of the investigative department in the Gagarinsky district and forensic investigators conducted the entire necessary set of initial investigative actions: the identification of the suspect with the participation of the victims, his interrogation, searches at the place of residence of the defendant and his relatives, all the necessary forensic examinations were assigned, including molecular genetic. A man pleads guilty of committed crimes.

The investigation is being prepared to file a resident of Sevastopol on the above articles of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation and go to court with a motion to choose a preventive measure against him in the form of detention.

Also, in interaction with colleagues from the criminal investigation department, other possible victims from the actions of the attacker are established.
