A man suspected of desecrating a symbol of military glory was detained in Sevastopol

While monitoring the Internet space, police officers found a video in one of the messengers in which an unknown man, while on Ushakov Square, relieved himself at an installation dedicated to Victory Day in the Great Patriotic War.
The illegal actions of the offender were recorded by concerned citizens and became widespread on social networks, causing justifiable indignation among the residents of the hero city of Sevastopol. As a result of the operational search activities carried out, employees of the Center for Combating Extremism of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol, with the force support of the Russian Guard SOBR, detained the person involved in the incident. He turned out to be a 27-year-old local resident. He had previously been prosecuted for theft, drug possession, repeated driving while intoxicated and using false documents. Currently, the detainee has been taken by police to the investigative agency for further investigation.
