A man was brought to justice in Sevastopol for discrediting the Russian Armed Forces
CrimeaPRESS reports:
In Sevastopol, a 43-year-old local resident deservedly “earned” an administrative punishment. Not out of the blue, but quite consciously.
During the day, the attention of passers-by was attracted by a man who, in the courtyard of a residential building, was loudly shouting slogans aimed at discrediting the use of the Russian Armed Forces in a special military operation. The offender did not respond to the comments, so concerned citizens called the police to the scene— said the Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs for the city of Sevastopol.
By the arrival of the police patrol service, the violator was taken to the Department of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Leninsky district, where a protocol on an administrative offense was drawn up against him, provided for in Article 20.3.3 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Public actions aimed at discrediting the use of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation for the purpose of protecting the interests of the Russian Federation and its citizens, maintaining international peace and security…»).
The materials collected by the police officers were sent to the Leninsky District Court of Sevastopol for consideration. By a court decision, the man was found guilty and sentenced to an administrative fine in the amount of 40 thousand rubles.
And this, as they say, is for the first time. If this is a hooligan act (which we doubt due to the age of the offender), that’s one thing. And if this is his “ideological position”, well… repeating history may no longer turn into an “administrative” matter, but a criminal case.
Waiting people, alas, do meet.
