A man was condemned in Sevastopol — he systematically tortured a little stepson

The evidence collected by the Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of the Russian Federation in the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol, evidence was recognized by the court sufficient for the conviction to the 37-year-old Sevastopol. He is found guilty of the torture of a child who is in a helpless and dependent state (paragraph «G» of part 2 of article 117 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigative department in the Nakhimovsky district and the court established that from May to December 2024, a man, living with a woman and a three -year stepson, systematically beat the baby and caused him physical and mental suffering in another cruel way. The mother of the child did not attach importance to the unlawful actions of the cohabitant, perceiving them as an educational process. The applied violence in law enforcement agencies was reported by an indifferent passer -by, paying attention to the traces of the beating of the boy, while both guardians left him on the street unattended and violated public order.
Investigators immediately conducted forensic examinations, which revealed numerous injuries in a minor. The whole set of investigative actions to collect and consolidate the evidence base was promptly organized and carried out. The necessary assistance was provided to the injured child — he was removed from the family and is currently at rehabilitation in a social shelter for children and adolescents, -The press service of the department reported.
At the request of the investigation by the court, the man was chosen by a preventive measure in the form of detention, where he is contained to the present. In connection with the failure to fulfill the obligations to raise the child (Article 156 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation), the criminal case was investigated by the mother of preliminary investigation, which is under consideration in court.
The man’s verdict was found guilty of the pasynka torture and sentenced to 3.5 years in prison in a general regime colony.
