A man was detained in the Simferopol district — they suspect the theft of street video complexes

In 2023, the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Simferopol district received a statement from a representative of the company engaged in the spectrum of work on the creation and introduction of intellectual transport systems in the road infrastructure of Russia, that in one of the sections of the road, communication from two video complexes established along the Tavrida control, which exercise control of weather conditions.
The criminal investigation officers of the Russian Ministry of Internal Affairs in the Simferopol district as a result of the complex of operational-search measures identified the suspect. The detainee turned out to be a 29-year-old resident of the Belogorsky district. The man explained that in October 2023 he decided to abduct the cameras of video surveillance and sunny batteries, which he noticed, passing along the Tavrida highway. Submitting stolen into his car, he went home. The guy kept the stolen property in the garage for further use in personal needs. The damage caused amounted to more than 1 million rubles,-voiced the details of the case in the press service of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in Crimea.
The Investigative Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Russia in the Simferopol district opened a criminal case under Part 4 of Art. 158 of the Criminal Code (theft). The sanction of the article provides for the maximum punishment in the form of imprisonment for up to ten years.
The suspect was chosen by a preventive measure in the form of detention.
