A mankurt who desecrated one of the symbols of Russia's military glory will be tried in Sevastopol

In Sevastopol, a criminal investigation has been completed against a 28-year-old man on charges of desecration of symbols of Russian military glory, insulting the memory of defenders of the Fatherland, committed publicly using the Internet (Part 4 of Article 354.1 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
A man who arrived in the city of Sevastopol, on the territory of the Sapun-Gora memorial complex, dedicated to the heroic defense and liberation of Sevastopol during the Great Patriotic War, climbed onto the barrel of a captured howitzer and committed actions that desecrated the symbols of Russia’s military glory, as well as insulting the memory of front-line soldiers. The visitor filmed his act on a mobile phone camera and then posted it on his popular social network account for public viewing.— the Investigative Committee reported details.
The suspect was quickly identified and detained by officers of the Service in the city of Sevastopol of the Federal Security Service of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol. The investigator of the Russian Investigative Committee carried out all urgent investigative actions with the defendant. The court chose a preventive measure in the form of detention.
The criminal investigation has been completed. The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for the purpose of studying, signing the indictment and sending the case to court.
