A meeting with Hero of Russia Roman Kulakov took place in Sevastopol

As part of the All-Russian military-patriotic educational campaign Knowledge.Heroes, Hero of Russia Roman Kulakov met with servicemen of the Sevastopol regiment of the Russian Guard. The meeting was eventful, the servicemen got a unique opportunity to talk to a real Hero and personally learn from him about his combat path, feat, and gain valuable knowledge that will undoubtedly help them in their work.
Educating the younger generation is a key aspect in our country today. The future of the country depends on young people. Roman Kulakov was awarded the highest state award, the Gold Star medal, during a special operation where he commanded a reconnaissance unit. The guest told how his unit of six people repelled an attack by an entire company of enemy soldiers and armored vehicles. For this battle, Roman was awarded the title Hero of Russia. According to the serviceman himself, this award belongs to the entire unit of fighters who took part in the battle.
Answering questions from the Rosgvardia fighters, the Hero focused on the importance of mutual assistance, fortitude and courage. He emphasized that these are the qualities that help overcome any difficulties on the way to achieving the goal and are an integral part of the character of a true warrior. The meeting also discussed comrades in arms and what helps the military survive difficulties.
Roman Kulakov is currently participating in the «Time of Heroes» program to prepare leaders for work in government bodies from among the participants of the North Military District, which was initiated by Russian President Vladimir Putin. The guest shared with the servicemen how he took part in the expedition to the North Pole with other participants of the program.
