A memorial dressing room was opened at the Crimean Theater for Young Spectators
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On International Theater Day, a memorial dressing room was opened at the Crimean State Theater for Young Spectators in Evpatoria.
The theater staff presented a new promenade excursion “What happiness?!” is a journey through time that introduces the viewer to the co-founder of the theater, director and public figure Oleg Permyakov. “What happiness?!” — at the same time the title of Oleg Permyakov’s play based on the stories of Anton Chekhov, and a question addressed to today’s generations— reported the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
The tour begins in the foyer of the Green Hall, there are stands with photographs from performances and the construction of the theater, a showcase with theatrical artifacts, and in the center — the founder and ideologist.
The main object of the excursion is the memorial dressing room of Oleg Permyakov — this is not a museum, but a working dressing room of the successors of the famous theater dynasty Anastasia and Andrei Permyakov. But it is here that viewers can touch the past, personal belongings, photographs, awards, the theater’s first telephone and reel-to-reel tape recorder, a costume from the production of “The Reluctant Doctor,” a model of the play, books and director’s copies of the script.
Before entering the memorial dressing room, the viewer will make a short stop in the upper dressing room of the Green Hall, where he will learn about the performances of director Permyakov, see programs, photographs and retro posters, elements of scenography and props, one of the costumes in which Oleg Permyakov played the father of Malchish-Kibalchish.
You can visit the promenade excursion by making an appointment by calling +7 (978) 716-93-14.
