A memorial plaque to the Hero of Russia Vladislav Dorokhin was solemnly opened in Simferopol

Today, a memorial plaque to the Hero of Russia Vladislav Dorokhin appeared on the wall of the Crimean University of Culture. A 21-year-old Crimean died while performing a combat mission in the NVO zone.

In 2017, Vladislav Dorokhin entered the Crimean University of Culture, Arts and Tourism in the field of study «Tourism». In my second year I decided to serve in the army and took an academic leave. After completing military service, he was restored at the university with a transfer to distance learning.

In May 2022, he submitted a report to the command about being sent to the marines to participate in a special military operation in Ukraine.

During the liberation of Donbass, the Marine Dorokhin in the battle on June 21 personally destroyed 10 nationalists. Covering his comrades, he called fire on himself. When the cartridges ran out, Vladislav picked up two grenades and blew himself up along with the militants surrounding him.

Vladislav Dorokhin gave his life for all of us, for our freedom and our ability to save our country— said Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Crimea Mikhail Nazarov, focusing on the fact that Vladislav Dorokhin was awarded the title of Hero of the Russian Federation by the Decree of the President of Russia (posthumously).
