A modular building for a day hospital was opened at the Crimean Oncology Center named after Efetov

In the Crimean Republican Oncology Clinical Dispensary named after. V. M. Efetov opened a new building of a day hospital for antitumor drug therapy.
The construction of the modular structure of the new building was completed in less than a year. Due to the shortage of space in the previously existing premises where the chemotherapy department was previously located, as well as due to the growing number of patients requiring chemotherapy in a day hospital, there was a need to build a new building to improve the quality of medical care and create comfortable conditions for their stay patients— said the Ministry of Health of the Republic of Crimea.
The new department building has 44 beds. At least 55 patients can receive antitumor drug therapy here per day.
The area of the two-story building of the new building is 1,295 square meters. meters, the usable area of the building is almost 850 sq. meters. The premises of the department are equipped with the necessary medical furniture and equipment, including laminar flow hoods, which ensure safety and sterility when preparing solutions for chemotherapy.
The cost of constructing the modular building is 123 million rubles; funding for these purposes was allocated from the budget of the Republic of Crimea.
