A monument to Kirill Stremousov was unveiled in Simferopol

The opening ceremony of the monument to Russian political and public figure Kirill Stremousov took place in Simferopol today.
Chairman of the State Duma Committee on International Affairs, head of the LDPR Leonid Slutsky emphasized that the name of Kirill Stremousov will remain in Russian history.
Kirill Stremousov has rallied around himself like-minded people who continue to fight for the future of our great Russia, at the moment of truth, which is one of the main ones in modern historysaid Leonid Slutsky.
Addressing those present, the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergei Aksyonov noted that there are not many people like Kirill Sergeevich, in whom life literally burns.
He was a true comrade and a reliable ally who could be relied on. In difficult times, such people, bright, with dedication and readiness for self-sacrifice, are in short supply. I am sure that the children of Kirill Sergeevich will always remember and be proud of the role their father played in the return of our native, historical regions to Russia. The guys really have someone to look up to. The memory of Kirill Sergeevich Stremousov will always live in our heartssaid the Head of Crimea and thanked Leonid Slutsky and the deputy corps for the support provided to Kirill’s family.
Also addressing those present were the Chairman of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea Vladimir Konstantinov, the Governor of Sevastopol Mikhail Razvozhaev, the Governor of the Kherson Region Vladimir Saldo, the Governor of the Zaporozhye Region Evgeniy Balitsky, the mother and widow of Kirill Stremousov.
The ceremony of consecrating the monument was conducted by the rector of the Peter and Paul Cathedral in the city of Simferopol, the secretary of the Crimean Metropolis, Archpriest Alexander Yakushechkin. After the ceremony, flowers were laid at the monument.
REFERENCE: Kirill Stremousov was born in 1976 in the Donetsk region. Since April 2022, he has served as Deputy Head of the Military-Civil Administration of the Kherson Region. In October 2022, he became deputy acting governor of the Kherson region. On November 9, 2022, he died in an accident. By decree of President Vladimir Putin he was awarded the Order of Courage (posthumously).
