The medal for contribution to strengthening the institution of the family and merits in raising children was personally presented to Yalta resident Yekaterina Moroz by the Head of the Republic of Crimea Sergey Aksyonov. What is the reward for? Ekaterina Dmitrievna, together with her husband — Sergey Viktorovich, for 33 years of marriage, they raised and raised 10 children.
Two years ago, in 2020, Sergey Viktorovich died after a long illness. Now Ekaterina Dmitrievna (in the past — an honorary worker of the village of Koreiz) devotes all her free time to her family, her children and seven grandchildren. Like any mother, she is proud and endlessly loves her children, and she has plenty of reasons to be proud— told the administration of Yalta.

The eldest son, Igor Vitalievich, from 2004 to 2021 worked as a driver in the branch of the federal budgetary healthcare institution «Center for Hygiene and Epidemiology in the Republic of Crimea and the city of federal significance Sevastopol» in the cities of Yalta, Alupka, urban settlement. Another son, Sergei, is a father of many children, raising four children. In his free time he goes in for sports, goes hiking with his family in the Crimea. In 2020, he was awarded a Certificate of Honor from the President of the Russian Federation for his contribution to the fight against coronavirus infection, dedication and high professionalism shown in the performance of his medical duty, and in 2021 — the Honorary Donor of Russia badge.
Son Alexander works as a firefighter. In 2021, by a decree of the Presidium of the State Council of the Republic of Crimea, he was awarded the medal «For Courage in a Fire». In 2022, for conscientious work and high professionalism, he was awarded the gratitude of the Yalta City Council.
Daughters — Elena, Alina, Yulia, Maria and Natalya work in different areas (in the Nikitsky Botanical Garden, RNKB, a gym and the Yuzhnoberezhny sanatorium). Moreover, Alina is also already a mother of many children.
The younger ones are still studying (Vyacheslav is a 4th year student, Mikhail is a 11th grade student). Four children — Alexander, Vyacheslav, Yulia and Maria are blood donors, systematically donate blood to save people’s lives.
In a large and friendly family, they honor traditions, celebrate holidays together, study the history of their family and their native land.
