The attention of the police was drawn to a video posted on social networks, in which the driver of a Mercedes car on the Yalta-Sevastopol highway grossly violated clause 1.3 of the Russian Traffic Regulations by driving into the oncoming lane. Based on the measures taken by the Yalta State Traffic Inspectorate, the driver was identified as a local resident born in 1973.
Administrative material has been drawn up against the violator under Part 4 of Art. 12.15 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Russian Federation (“Driving in violation of the Traffic Rules into a lane intended for oncoming traffic, or onto tram tracks in the opposite direction”).
