A murder has been solved in Sevastopol. A guest from St. Petersburg took the life of a childhood friend

CrimeaPRESS reports:

In Sevastopol, a criminal investigation has been completed against a 71-year-old resident of St. Petersburg. He is accused of murdering a Sevastopol acquaintance (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).

The investigative department for the Gagarinsky district established that on the night of July 20 of this year, a resident of the northern capital was visiting a childhood friend in a private house on the territory of one of the gardening partnerships. During a quarrel that arose while drinking alcohol, the guest struck his classmate numerous times with his hands and feet, as well as with a household knife in the head and torso area. After that, he crushed the neck of the lying victim with a wooden bench, blocking the airway. In the morning, having hidden a knife on the property, the attacker called an ambulance for the owner of the house, which recorded his death. The resident of St. Petersburg categorically denied his involvement in the death of his comrade,” Sledkom reported details.

It is emphasized that in cooperation with police officers, investigators and forensic investigators, irrefutable evidence of a particularly serious crime was obtained. The criminal investigation has now been completed. A sufficient evidence base has been collected. The materials were sent to the prosecutor’s office for signing the indictment and further sending the case to court.
