A murder in Simferopol Kamenka has been solved. Stepson stabbed his stepfather
CrimeaPRESS reports:
A resident of Simferopol was taken into custody on charges of murdering his stepfather in the Kamenka microdistrict.
The Main Investigation Department of the Investigative Committee of Russia for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has charged a 26-year-old resident of Simferopol with committing the murder of a 67-year-old relative from the Belogorsk district (Part 1 of Article 105 of the Criminal Code of the Russian Federation).
The investigative department for the Kyiv region established that a domestic conflict occurred between a drunk man and his stepfather in a private house on Collective Gardens Street, during which the attacker inflicted multiple blows on the victim with two knives. To hide the traces of the murder, a resident of Kamenka wrapped the victim’s body in oilcloth and a blanket, loaded it into a construction wheelbarrow and dumped it into a pond near the village, where it was discovered some time later by local residents— reported in Sledkom.
In cooperation with police officers, the suspect was identified and detained. During interrogation, a resident of Kamenka confessed, and during an investigative experiment at the crime scene, he spoke about the circumstances of the murder, pointing to the place where the weapon was hidden.
At the request of the investigator, the court took him into custody. Investigative actions aimed at collecting and consolidating the evidence base are ongoing.
