The Main Investigative Directorate of the Investigative Committee for the Republic of Crimea and the city of Sevastopol has completed a criminal investigation against a native of the Vinnitsa region. He is accused of attempted murder of citizens in connection with their official activities and the performance of public duty, committed in a generally dangerous manner by a group of persons in a prior conspiracy for hire, illegal trafficking in explosives and explosive devicessays the message in Telegram channel departments.

The Investigative Committee added that, on instructions from the SBU curator, the accused organized the attempted murder of three officials. For committing this crime, he was promised a reward of $10 thousand. The attacker established the route of movement of officials, bought an explosive from which he made an explosive device.

The mechanism was installed under the gas cylinder of the car and on June 19, 2023, it was activated remotely while driving along the Evpatoria Highway. As a result, three employees of the Zaporozhye Region Military Administration who were in the car were seriously injured. They were provided with timely medical assistancethe press service recalled.

An accomplice of the Ukrainian special services was identified and detained during special events. He was arrested, he confessed and assisted the investigative authorities. The criminal investigation has been completed.
