A new angiograph, which appeared in the Sevastopol city oncological dispensary named after. A. A. Zadorozhny, is equipment that allows for minimally invasive diagnostic and therapeutic interventions under X-ray and ultrasound control. Thanks to the angiograph, specialists will be able to significantly expand the methods of treating malignant neoplasms and increase the survival of patients with oncology at all stages of the disease.
This device has many possibilities. Here you can get not only a flat picture, but also such a picture as with computed tomography, and directly during the intervention. The digital stationary x-ray angiography system also has an ultrasound imaging system for the cardiovascular system. Experts note that due to the high-quality image from different projections and angles, which is transmitted in real time, it is possible to perform the entire range of modern endovascular operations in oncology: embolization, chemoembolization, chemoinfusion, radioembolization.
