A new Center for Innovative and Educational Technologies will be built at the Artek International Children's Center

The new Center for Innovative Educational Technologies will appear in the Solnechny children’s camp on the territory of the Artek International Children’s Center in Crimea by 2025. This was reported in the press service of the Single Customer in the Construction Industry.

The total area of ​​the Center for Innovative and Educational Technologies will be more than 20 thousand square meters. m. There will be able to study 1200 children at the same time. The educational program of the Center will be aimed at raising the intellectual level of children, expanding their horizons, as well as developing skills and abilities. The construction of the new building is planned to be completed by 2025— said the press service of the company.

The press service of the Single Customer also added that an amphitheater, artistic and rehearsal rooms, a video studio, a recording studio and other premises will appear in the new four-story Center.

Work on the construction of the new building started in September 2022. Currently, builders are laying the foundation of the future center on the territory of the facility and are completing work on the engineering protection of the territory.

The Solnechny camp itself, with an area of ​​60,000 sq. m on the territory of Artek is planned to be opened in 2024-2025. More than 1,000 children per shift will be able to rest there. In total, seven objects are being implemented on the territory of the camp, including two dormitory buildings for 500 people each, a gas boiler room with utilities, access roads, a housing building for counselors and staff of the Center for Innovative Educational Technologies, as well as beach infrastructure facilities.

The press service of the Single Customer reminded that in July 2023, after reconstruction, a swimming pool with an area of ​​more than 600 square meters was opened on the territory of the Lesnoy camp. m. The pool of sports and recreational type with five lanes is designed for 40 people. Its feature is water heating, and the pool itself is filled with sea water.

It is planned to complete the construction of all facilities on the territory of the Artek International Children’s Center by the celebration of its centennial anniversary in 2025.
