A new composition of the Youth Election Commission is being formed in Sevastopol

The Sevastopol City Election Commission has begun accepting proposals for membership in the youth election commission. Nominations and submission of documents are held from April 4 to April 18.
A citizen of the Russian Federation aged 18 to 35 years inclusive, living in Sevastopol, can be a member of the Youth Election Commission (MEC). The Youth Election Commission (MEC) is formed of 12 members, the term of office is two years.
The right to nominate candidates to the MEC is vested in the Sevastopol City Election Commission and territorial election commissions of the city, regional branches of political parties, executive authorities of the city of Sevastopol, public associations and their regional branches, and educational organizations. In addition, a citizen of the Russian Federation living in Sevastopol can apply to the MEC by self-nomination.
The Youth Election Commission is a permanent advisory and advisory body under the Northern Electoral Commission, which assists in increasing the electoral activity of young and future voters, in creating a conscious interest among young people in the electoral process, and in training the reserve personnel of election commissions.
