A new exhibition in Stary Krym presents unique items from the late 19th and early 20th centuries

With the support of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea, the Literary and Art Museum of Stary Krym hosted a presentation of the partner exhibition project “Keeping Generous Inheritance”, introducing the diversity, richness and beauty of the national cultures of the peoples of Crimea.
The visitors are presented with the exhibition “At the Native Origins” from the collection of the Historical and Archaeological Museum-Reserve “Kalos Limen” and the exhibition “Pages of History” from the stock collection of the Literary and Art Museum of the Historical and Cultural, Memorial Museum-Reserve “Cimmeria M.A. Voloshin.
The exhibition “At the Native Origins”, which tells about the material and spiritual culture of the Slavic peoples inhabiting the territory of the Tarkhankut Peninsula, was presented by the chief curator of the Kalos Limen Museum-Reserve Olga Panasevich and researcher Svetlana Neklyasa. Head of the Literary and Art Museum Marina Stamova spoke about the exhibition «Pages of History», introducing the cultural heritage of the peoples of the Crimean Peninsula— the press service of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea reports.
Museum guests saw unique exhibits: household items of the late 19th — early 20th centuries, hand embroidery, ceramics, decorative and applied arts, national costumes. The exhibition project will continue its work until June 29.
