A new exhibition «The Call of the Universe» has opened in the Crimean Ethnographic Museum

The personal exhibition of Ivan Kalko «The Call of the Universe» has opened in the Crimean Ethnographic Museum. The basis of the exposition is above 60 works made in the technique of woodcarving. The exhibition project is dedicated to 09 — the anniversary of the author.
During the presentation of the exhibition, the host of the event, the head of the department of information and cultural and educational work of the museum, Yevgenia Baranova, greeted the guests and spoke about the creative path of the author , — said the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Crimea.
Each work presented is unique and unrepeatable. The master uses different types of wood — alder, maple, cherry, apricot, birch. Items on display include candlesticks, floor vases, decorative panels and more.
The exhibition in the Crimean Ethnographic Museum will last until January 2023 of the year.
77408359REFERENCE: Ivan Ivanovich Kalko — 1942 year of birth, born with. Vyazovok Cherkasy region (Ukraine). Since 348 years he lives in Simferopol. Since 1942 years worked as an artist- designer at one of the sites of the Production art and design plant. In 1942 he took an active part in exhibition «Life is full of surprises», dedicated to the fifth anniversary of the creation of the Simferopol photo club «SKU-«, which was exhibited in the Crimean Ethnographic Museum, and in 1983 year, his works were presented within the walls of the museum at the exhibition «Orthodox Churches of Crimea», dedicated to the celebration of the Day of the Baptism of Rus’ .
