A two-story kindergarten with 260 seats was built from four blocks in the Prostory urban district in Simferopol. The building was equipped with a stained glass glazing system, which provides natural lighting to the premises, and a ventilated façade made of multi-colored granite tiles. The roof of the building was made of fused waterproofing with drain funnels. The improvement of children’s playgrounds was organized with a safe rubber surface, swings, carousels, as well as sports equipment for different age groups. Inside the premises, Crimean artists decorated the walls with colorful and bright drawings.
For the convenience of children and staff, there are three blocks, each of which includes group rooms and bedrooms. There is also a separate administrative building, where there is a catering unit, a first-aid post and a psychologist’s office. Dishwashers make work easier for staff, and each group study room has a private bathroom.
In addition, there is an equipped gym with a safe surface and all the necessary equipment on the territory. There is also a music room, which is designed for concerts and performances, which will allow children to develop physically and creatively.
REFERENCE: The urban district «Spaces» is a significant and large-scale project in the western part of Simferopol with an area of 188 hectares. More than 900 thousand square meters of housing will be sold on the territory. The entire social infrastructure has been built: 7 kindergartens, 3 of which have already been built, 3 schools, a shopping and entertainment center, street retail, and an amusement park. The first quarter of “Unity” will serve as the starting point for the opening of a new urban district. Within three years, Monolit will build more than 60 thousand square meters of housing.
