A new tour route has been launched in the Yalta Chekhov Museum

The Anton Chekhov House-Museum in Yalta has launched a new tourist route «The Art Salon of Maria Chekhova». According to Tourist portal of Crimea, the updated excursion program is dedicated to the writer’s sister and the first director of the museum, Maria Pavlovna. The new historical tour of the museum is available through September 9th.
The tour tells how the museum was created and with what efforts it was preserved. Visitors will learn about the paintings of the playwright’s sister and her fundamental art school, where talent was formed under the influence of such eminent masters as Valentin Serov, Konstantin Korovin and Isaac Levitan, the Crimean Literary and Art Museum-Reserve reported.
Tourists will get acquainted with the permanent exposition of the Belaya Dacha, as well as visit the exhibition «In the Artist’s Studio», which presents artifacts from the museum’s stock collection.
The route will be valid only for a month for the duration of the exhibition project. Scheduled tours will be available on September 2 and 9. The start is at 13:00. Cost — according to entrance tickets: adult — 350 rubles, for schoolchildren, students and pensioners — 200 rubles.
