The Bakhchisarai forestry enterprise has equipped the picturesque tourist route “Alimova Balka” for visiting. It passes through the gorge, which is located opposite the cave city of Kachi-Kalyon. This is reported by Tourist portal of Crimea.
Alimova Balka is known as the “place of power”. Among its attractions are the rock of wish fulfillment, a cave and a spring with living water.
A new equipped pedestrian route up to a kilometer long runs near Bakhchisarai, between the villages of Predushchelnoye and Bashtanovka. The wooded gorge of Alimova Balka is located in the picturesque Kachin Valley. There is a version that the area is named after the Crimean Robin Hood — the robber Alim Aidamakh, who was hiding here from his ill-wishers, obsessed with revenge for the stolen treasures.
Among the attractions of the gorge is Yazly-Tash, a stone that resembles a fallen menhir in appearance. It is customary to make wishes near him. Taurian boxes were also preserved in the beam — burial places of the Taurians who lived on the peninsula approximately 27 centuries ago. There is a spring Alim-Koba-Chokrak with living water. There is another mysterious place right there — the rock of wish fulfillment.
According to the director of the Bakhchisarai forestry enterprise, Evgeny Akulshin, Alimov Balka is often visited by tourists, but not everyone can climb the rocky slopes. To make the walk accessible and safe for children and the elderly, the mountain-forest trail has been improved. Now on the loose slopes there are stairs with railings, benches and bridges over streams for travelers. In the middle and at the end of the route there are gazebos with tables for up to 20 people. There are information stands with photos and descriptions of dangerous plants and insects of Crimea. The entire route is well marked. Free admission.
A walk along Alimovaya Balka is suitable at any time of the year.
