A performance for teenagers is being created at the Crimean Youth Theater
CrimeaPRESS reports:
At the end of February, a new performance, which grew out of a reading, will appear in the repertoire of the Crimean State Youth Theater.
In the second season of the project “PROteenager: Notes to Ancestors,” director Sergei Tolstykh and young artists from the Golden Key conducted a reading based on Igor Vitrenko’s play “Everyone Likes Yana (No).” The text was written by the author within the framework of the III collaborative laboratory for teenagers “Own Territory” (Tara), where it was awarded the “Best Play” nomination. In 2023, the story was included in the short list of “Little Remarque”— noted in the theater.
The performance will reveal all stages of bullying and show the feelings and thoughts of not only the heroine, but also those who participate in the bullying. What might be the motives of the attacking crowd, is it possible to avoid the conflict and how to deal with it — all this will be revealed in the premiere performance “Everyone Likes Yana (No).”
