A person died in a fire in Sevastopol
CrimeaPRESS reports:
On the evening of February 11, employees of the Russian Ministry of Emergency Situations extinguished a fire in Sevastopol. An apartment in a building on Gagarin Street caught fire. Information about the fire was received at 21:16. Emergency department forces immediately moved to the scene of the incident — 13 personnel, 3 tank trucks and a ladder truck.
Upon arrival, they determined that an apartment on the second floor of a five-story building was on fire. Having formed gas and smoke protection units, the firefighters entered the room and used guns to extinguish the fire. Unfortunately, a deceased man was found inside.
At the same time, residents were evacuated from neighboring smoky apartments — 16 people, including two children, were taken out into the fresh air— reported the Main Directorate of the Ministry of Emergency Situations of Russia for the city of Sevastopol.
The fire was completely extinguished at 21:55. Its area was 15 square meters. The causes and circumstances of the incident will be established by the competent authorities.
