A photo exhibition of the project “The Hero’s Wife and Mother” was presented on the Yalta embankment

The photo project is being implemented on behalf of the Head of the Republic of Crimea and the Ministry of Internal Policy, Information and Communications of Crimea with the aim of popularizing patriotism and love for the Motherland. The exhibition stands display 20 photographs — 12 photos of wives and mothers of Yalta and another 8 of Simferopol and Alushta. Women, as a sign of support for their loved ones, took part in the project and were photographed in the uniforms of their spouses and sons.

Opening the photo exhibition, the Head of the municipality of the city district of Yalta — Chairman of the Yalta City Council Konstantin Shimanovsky noted that the photographs touch a nerve.

Behind every photo is life, family, children… Low bow to wives and mothers for the reliable rear they provide to our soldiers participating in the Special Military Operation and heroically fighting fascism. It is thanks to the military that we are protected and live under a clear, peaceful sky. I am sure that all the goals of the North Military District will be achieved and Victory will be ours!,” the press service quotes the Head of the municipality.

First Deputy Head of the Yalta City Administration Sergei Bannov wished all military personnel that the prayers of their wives and mothers would help and protect them on the battlefields.

A wife and mother are like two wings that give confidence and strength to men in any undertaking, in any challenge. And today, women have become a reliable and strong rear. Our entire huge country, we all help our fighters, and this exhibition is a huge moral support for them. The love and faith of the project participants gives strength to our military personnel. We believe — Victory will be ours!says Sergey Bannov.

The organizers of the all-Russian project “The Wife and Mother of the Hero” in Crimea were a small but strong team: Chairman of the permanent working group on family issues at the Public Council of Simferopol Alena Labunets, member of the working group on family issues at the Public Council of Simferopol Anna Mikhailovskaya, photographer project Daria Voznyuk, makeup artist Alena Oganesyan and stylist Evgenia Zolotoreva.

In fact, these photographs have a deep sacramental meaning. These are not just photos, but stories from life — about loyalty, love, hope for the best. Thus, we want to show our husbands and sons on the front line that we remember them and are waiting for them at home. Military personnel are charged with our emotions and positivity. We must be strong and support each other. Thanks to all the wives and mothers that they remain cheerful, spirited, optimistic and do not withdraw into themselves,” emphasizes Alena Labunets.

Until the end of the year, photo exhibitions “The Wife and Mother of the Hero” will be organized in Kerch, Evpatoria and Krasnoperekopsk. The project has already been implemented in Simferopol, Bakhchisarai and Nizhnegorsky district.

20 photographs — 20 women… Different professions, different ages. But what unites them all, as if putting them in one formation, is a military jacket on their shoulders — today’s clothing of their sons and husbands, defenders of the Fatherland. And on each photo there is a “letter to a soldier”, which contains the lines “I am proud of you”, “I am waiting for you”, “Come home with Victory”. This project is moral support for our military personnel, for whom there, on the front line, it is important to know that they are waited at home, loved and believed in our Victory!, — notes the head of the Yalta city administration, Yanina Pavlenko.

After the opening of the photo exhibition, Konstantin Shimanovsky held a meeting with the relatives of the SVO participants. The head of the municipality answered all the questions of the wives and mothers of our Heroes and listened to all their wishes.

We are always in touch with military families. We try to surround them with attention and promptly respond to all their requests,” explained Konstantin Shimanovsky.
